We had the pleasure of providing the entertainment from arrival through to the dinner element at the gorgeous Kimpton Clocktower hotel in Manchester city centre for the MPA Christmas party.

Working with the clients specific brief we put together a fabulous production of Christmas themed performances starting with our Cheeky elf on arrival outside the venue – creating a fun and inviting entrance on his bouncy stilts and leading guests through to the reception area where they were greeted by our snowflake princess on stilts. Perfect for engaging with the guests and posing for pictures as the excitement started to build.

As the guests were lead through to the main space for dinner our stunning vocalist Jude was on hand to sing some Christmas classics and really get the party started. Bringing a mix of upbeat and background tracks so not to overpower the meal Jude really created the perfect atmosphere and all whilst sparkling from head to toe!

Our aerialist Holly performed a dramatic show stopping number on beautiful white silks rigged from the venue ceiling making this a real wow moment for guests during the event and to add that energy back into the schedule after the food and speeches had been delivered.

Each element of our entertainment is clearly thought out and delivered with the highest respect and thought process to our clients requirements. We can’t wait to work with MPA again and create another event to remember!

MIAMI DOLPHIN CHEERLEADERS

We were asked to provide some upbeat, energetic and interactive performers for a MIAMI themed corporate event in London. This was a three day conference at the Sofital hotel and with multiple breakouts, meetings and presentations over this time we were brought in to inject some fun and energy to the after party. And boy did we!

“Just a quick note to thank you so much for sending over a great team last night – the Cheerleaders and Dolphins went down a right treat, they did a great job please pass on my thanks!”

With a quick turnaround time we went straight to work on sourcing and creating Miami Dolphin style costumes and props to help bring this theme to life, we cast our dancers based on high energy and fun attitude to bring these characters to life.

The event space was transformed and allowed our performers to really get into character, meeting all guests on arrival with a custom made cheer and dancing to ‘Welcome to Miami’ as the delegates made their way into the space – so much fun!

SECRET FEAST

Over the last couple of years we have worked on an immersive dining experience in the woods – The Secret Feast. A stunning location in Beaconsfield hidden away in a wooded area with the most stunning lake as the central point. We were brought on as the creative team to produce the interactive performances throughout the dinner, design and create costumes, hair and make up and music to elevate this event into the immersive stratosphere.

From the surroundings coming to life with our Hedgemen characters to the inquisitive fairies that wonder through the woods with balletic grace and poise the guests were in awe of the stunning entertainment that welcomed them. This all built to the after dinner finale which was a highlight for so many guests – Our mythical unicorn enters the lake by floating in a giant sphere, creating stunning shapes and movements all choreographed to music.

We loved being so hands on with this event, managing all the performances on the day of each event, casting each character with intension, creating make up looks, producing stunning costumes with our style team and ensuring every part of the production ran smoothly from set up to performance.

Music video shoots

Carly our creative director and choreographer had a huge task of not only auditioning to find the perfect cast for the brief but also choreographing 4 music videos for a client promoting the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. The Festival 8 Nights shoot was a series of music videos shot in the beautiful Camber sands with our 9 female dancers representing the Menorah candle. With original music produced in LA and a fantastic production team, Pink Mustard delivered a diverse mix of dance styles and choreography to go alongside the lead vocalist and storyline.

Our dancers were just fantastic on set, shooting through the night and picking up choreography quickly and precisely. The shoots included a coming home from War scenario where the lead singer was performing for the crowds, A Full moon UV party on the beach where we captured some incredible drone shots and a beautiful lyrical number on the beach with the girls creating sand patterns and shapes with their movements.

Liverpool and North West Wedding show

We were so thrilled to be asked to produce and cast this year Septembers wedding show in Liverpool for the lovely team at Bliss events company. We cast a diverse mix of our wonderful model/dancers and created a show with a difference. We wanted to put Pink Mustards stamp on it and wow the audience with some new additions to the usual set up of the show. This included a live female singer, a beautiful ballerina and a dramatic performance from our highly skilled CYR wheel act. These are just a few of our talented acts we have and we wanted to inspire and excite the ‘brides to be’ with some amazing entertainment that they could also book for their special day too.

Our creative director and choreographer Carly produced the best show yet (their words not ours!) and brought a fresh new take to the standard wedding show catwalk. The models danced their way through 7 numbers on stage showcasing the beautiful bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, suits and party wear with fun, energetic and highly choreographed numbers. There was even a backflip in there! We like to push the boundaries and think outside the box – culminating in a brand new format of bridal shows!

Corporate staff party

We worked alongside a wonderful event company based in London to create a staff party with a difference! 300 guests were wowed from start to finish with the vast array of activities, games and entertainment from the moment they arrived. We provided a warm welcome with 2 beautiful butterfly stilt walkers as the guests entered the venue. From there we also provided 5 of our promotional staff to engage with the guests, get them hyped for the games and enjoy all there was to offer on the day.

Our live graffiti artist was also onsite creating a one off piece right In front of their eyes! The guests were welcomed to join in and be a part of the creation – all of which was inspired by the surroundings of the event itself! A real wow moment and something the clients are able to keep at the end of the event too!

We had such amazing feedback from our clients on this, well done to team Pink Mustard once again!

Music video shoot

Some of Pink Mustards acts were cast for a music video shoot last week working for a wonderful client Aztech films. The music video is part of a mini series of films to promote and celebrate the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah and we certainly brought the entertainment to set. Our creative director Carly was on hand to choreograph and direct the acts during their performances and once on set each act totally wowed with their individual skills. The cast included Break dancers, fire performers, a fire breather, stilt walkers and a mesmerising LED hoop act - all bringing their A game and showcasing why they are part of the Pink Mustard team. The set was incredible, the crew were fantastic and we can’t wait to see the finished product! We are also looking forward to working on the next series of videos – watch this space! Pink mustard Entertainment Showcase!!

What a crazy couple of weeks it’s been! Pink Mustard Entertainment recently headed down to the Great Bar/Bat Mitzvah northern showcase organised by HL Events armed with some of our favourite acts to perform for all the unsuspecting guests looking for some inspiration for their next big event!

The Manchester Marriott V & A was full to the brim of fantastic suppliers from across the country and throughout the day we had the pleasure of entertaining the crowds.

Our LED Robot was an instant hit, meeting all the new arrivals and even having a boogie with them on the dancefloor. His fun nature and engaging humour ensured everyone had fun on the day and he really made a statement! Perfect for meet and greet, mingling with your guests and getting them on the dancefloor!

Diva Mix were next up and wow what a show they put on! With 2 choreographed sets of the best Little Mix hits the girls really brought the house down. Amazing dance routines, killer harmonies and professional costumes give this group that high end feel. Are you looking for something different for your child’s party? Then look no further – these girls bring a taste of the real thing! We certainly had some starry-eyed kids there on the day!!

Our Dance duo brought that showgirl elegance with their hand made bespoke head pieces and costumes, these costumes are out of this world! If you are looking to make a classy, sparkly first impression at your event then this act will do just that. With beautiful Ostrich feathers and crystals for days the audience were wowed as soon as they took to the floor. From there they went 1920’s style for their Gatsby themed dance routine – a cheeky and energetic number perfect for mid dinner entertainment or a perfect party starter!

Charity ball entertainment!

Just before Christmas we had the honour of providing entertainment for a fantastic event. The Fifth Annual Yabba Dabba Doo charity event raised a fantastic £40,000 for youth cancer research at The Christie's Cancer Hospital in Manchester and we were thrilled to be just a small part of it.

Our elegant Electric violin duo enticed the guests into the main room where the gala dinner was being served, playing a host of well-known popular tracks along with some more traditional tunes. Followed shortly by our amazing Cyr Wheel artist who wowed them with her choreographed piece to ‘Under Stars” A combination of elegance, strength, power and beauty – what a way to start the night! We had fantastic feedback from the event organiser saying “They were incredible. Absolutely perfect. Everyone loved them and they were very professional, absolutely a pleasure to have there. Thank you for organising everything.”

Indeedy musical bingo comes to Manchester!!

Pink mustard hosted the first EVER northern event for the Indeedy team at Unit 101 in Manchester last week and boy what a night it was!

Let me explain the night a little more:
It is just like normal bingo but with songs instead of numbers! Cross songs off your bingo card as you hear them, and compete to win some amazing (and kitsch!) prizes! You are joined by a couple of crazy dancing grannies, a glamorous and hugely entertaining host and fabulous DJ to bring you all your favourite (and guilty pleasure) tracks! Add in dance offs, lip sync battles and you’re still no closer to the madness that ensues!...

A short film by Apidae Pictures starring Ricky H.

We cast the fabulous Ricky in the short film ‘In Time’ starring Georgia Williams and Directed by Barnaby Boulton.

“A young woman struggles to pass time at work until a mysterious customer enters. When the man requests that she play something on the piano, her reality is transformed into a 1940’s styled musical number.”

Barnaby came to us looking for a Tap dancer with style and grace, someone with the class and elegance of a 1940s gent – And we had just the guy for this role.

Stereophonics drummer POP MORRISON presents BOI Genius.

We had the pleasure of working with Pop Morrison on his first music video with the incredible Fem Fel. The video starring Pop himself was filmed in and around London and with a specific brief in mind he came to Pink mustard looking for a female to play his on-screen girlfriend.

As well as being founder of Pink Mustard Entertainment Carly has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the world of performing after being one herself for over 10 years. This means she is now booked for her creative over view, insight and advice on what makes the best impact, says the right message and delivers what the client wants. This could be a full blown themed and choreographed production to a fashion or hair show working with stylists, choreographers and the client to create a piece ready for the stage. We only work with the best in the business so you can be rest assured that the choreography, the styling and the performance will be second to none.

LRO blends the heady nostalgia of soulful old school hip hop with a sleek selection of current trap and alt-R&B.Her sets curate sounds from Soul, Funk, Rap, R&B, Grime, UK Garage and more - expect to hear party hits from the 90s mixed with soulful classics and the latest tracks from emerging artists. We had a quick catch up with LRO and she told us all about her residencies including the renowned member's club Century in Soho, and established party night Pour It Up, where she's warmed up for the likes of Etta Bond, Ms Dynamite, Shortee Blitz and Soul II Soul's Jazzie B!! Pink Mustard Entertainment

We wanted to shout it from the rafters! All this hard work and collaborating with the best in the business needs a platform to showcase some its talents, and Founder and director Carly Barantini decided to produce a promo video to do just that!

Collaborating with their in house videographers and amazing film makers PATHLESS FILMS Carly set to work on finding the perfect location. “We wanted something urban, rough around the edges and cool – a real contrast to the elegant, glamorous and professional acts we were filming - you would usually see them on a beautiful stage somewhere” The old joinery in Greenwich London was amazing and the guys there really helped create our vision with backdrops, lighting and staging.

Some of the acts included our Hand balance act Zoe – a combination of strength and beauty, the slightly mischievous Miss Lolo pop and our exclusive Fire duo ‘Feu des Filles’ who had a ball on set playing with fire all day!

Our Break dancer JJ we have worked with for years and as soon as he hit that floor the room exploded! Energy for days…. Even our videographer was tapping his feet! Whilst our contortionist had everyone squealing with (well kind of) delight after her twists and turns and remarkable moves – we salute you!

After a full day of rehearsing, staging and shooting the team were super excited to release the first of the videos – a short 10 second teaser clip which gained so much enthusiasm and excitement for the website launch here at Pink mustard!
Carly wanted to thank everyone for their input and hard work on the day – it really paid off and you were all a pleasure to work with.
