Matthew and his musicians have performed for HM The Queen, Prince Albert of Monaco and members of The British, Serbian and Omani Royal Family as well as entertaining guests at Christine Bleakley & Frank Lampard’s wedding. Last year The vanKan Band marked Frank Sinatra’s Centenary with shows in Qatar and Abu Dhabi and Matthew was a special guest of Deana Martin for shows in the USA celebrating the music of her father and Rat Pack member Dean Martin. Unlike a tribute act vanKan emulates rather than impersonates as he honours popular music of a golden age in music. His passionate and sophisticated reinterpretations of The Great American Songbook includes stunning ballads, blues, well-known jazz standards and swing classics – the hits of the Silver Screen and legends such as Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett and many more.
Jango - Latin Acoustic Duo
Biography
Jango are a flamenco guitar duo, playing a fusion of Spanish, latin and jazz music. The Duo were both classically trained at the Royal Welsh College of music, where they met and began performing together aged just 14. In the past few years they have played at many corporate events across the U.K for Companies including Volkswagen, where they played alongside Myleene Klass at Manchester Central. They have also enjoyed performing for many sporting figures and actors for example Bill Nighy, Swansea City Football club and Shane Williams, playing at his retirement party in South Wales. Over the past few years they have frequently performed at many DC Media events playing for The Herald, South Wales Evening Post and the Cornish Guardian.

These professional artists can play that traditional jazz/blues background music to full on party mode! - free styling along with the DJ to the most current and commercial house tracks around! She has performed on Daybreak, T4, Top of the Pops, Koko Pop, X-Factor Talk Talk ident, MTV and Hollyoaks in the UK as well as two episodes on E!’s US based Ryan Seacrest show ‘The Dance Scene’. She has a wealth of experience on stage from supporting the likes of JLS, Olly Murs, The Saturdays and Alexandra Burke on tour and appearing at festivals such as T4 on the Beach, Party in the Park, Key 103 Manchester, Fusion Festival and Various Prides around the UK.

Megan, originally from Northern Ireland, moved to London eight years ago and has since established herself as a top performer in the Jazz and Vintage music genre. A lover of all things Vintage, Megan has featured in Vintage Life Magazine several times and has even graced the front cover. As well as singing classic Jazz Standards, Megan also performs a large repertoire of Contemporary music with artists ranging from Taylor Swift to Bon Jovi and Daft Punk to Sam Smith, to which she adds her own Vintage twist. This 'Postmodern' genre adds a touch of class to any Cocktail Party, Drinks Reception or Unique Event. Naomi is a vibrant and energetic violinist, with almost a decade of experience entertaining audiences and clients across the UK. Professionally trained, she has studied at The University of Manchester, The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and The Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance Junior Department. Naomi has performed in some of the country’s most prestigious venues including The Royal Festival Hall, St. John's Smith Square, The Barbican and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. She has also worked on shows including 'Britain’s Got Talent' (ITV) and 'The Voice' (ITV), and has performed at the internationally renowned World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Thrillingly diverse, Naomi performs a wide range of music including classical, pop, jazz, Bollywood and house. This can be with an acoustic, electric or LED light up violin.
